The YallaBid platform works slightly different than other marketplace platforms taking into account the types of listings and the sellers who sell them.
Buying an Item
When a buyer purchases an item, this means that the item's quantity is reduced and the seller is notified of the intent to purchase and checkout for the item by the buyer, this is before payment even takes place.
Checking Out
Once a buyer wins the auction or has decided to buy an item (in the case of a fixed price listing), the user can check out by either:
- Selecting the Checkout button on listing
- Clicking the link to the checkout on the email received
- Clicking checkout for the listing in the "Won" section of the My YallaBid - Buyer Area
To checkout a user has to select their address, select an appropriate shipping method and the continue in payment for the item
